Boy, 10, hurt in road accident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy collided with a parked lorry in Montagu Street, Kettering, yesterday, Wednesday, February 27.

The incident took place at about 3.30pm, at the junction with Thorngate Street.

The boy suffered a minor head injury and was taken to Kettering General Hospital for treatment.

Officers who dealt with the incident said they wanted to thank members of the public who went to the assistance of the boy prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

They would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
