The latest Corn Market Blues concert, a series of gigs dedicated to blues/rock music and hosted at The Raven Hall in Corby, will feature the two-time winner of the Young Artist of the Year in the British Blues Awards.

Laurence Jones will appear at the Rockingham Road venue on Saturday, April 30, supported by The Black Circles.

Local promoters Dave Morse and Richard Boyles, who run the Corn Market Blues, are official supporters of the Crohn’s and Colitis UK charity and will be raising funds for their chosen charity at the performance.

Singer-songwriter Laurence is one of the approximately 115,000 people in the UK who suffers from the debilitating Crohn’s and Colitis illness.

Still only 23 years old, Laurence, who is a full-time professional musician, has to undertake monthly, two-hour treatments to help control his Crohn’s disease.

The rising star of the British blues scene will headline the show organised by the non-profit organisation run by volunteers.
