Bid to convert former Kettering office block into apartments
Kettering Council has made a planning application to convert a former office block in the town into apartments.
Sheerness House in Meadow Road used to house Wilson Browne Solicitors.
The five-storey building - which had been put on the market for £575,000 - is now the subject of a bid by the council to create extra housing.
The proposal is to convert the building into a mix of apartments and studios, creating 14 dwellings with a parking space for each.
A decision is expected by August 5 this year.
