Beer and music on offer for festival’s tenth anniversary

A succesful beer festival is celebrating its tenth annual event this weekend.

The two-day Brigstock Beer Festival is being held tomorrow night (Friday) and all day on Saturday. This year the sold-out Friday night will feature comedians Yianni Agisilaou, Matt Green, Nena Edwards and Pete Dobbing.

On the Saturday the festival will start at midday with stalls outside the village hall that will include tombolas, raffles, a duck race, a Viking challenge and archery.

There will also be a barbecue, hog roast and bar featuring 24 beers as well as ciders, wines and spirits. During the afternoon there will be bands, a magician and a performance by the Brigstock Community Choir. The BBC’s The One Show will judge a National homebrew competition.
