This is your chance to be a star in Peter Pan this Christmas.

The show at The Lighthouse theatre in Kettering will star Darren Day, but producers are also looking for children from the area to play their part.

The pantomime is the biggest in the theatre’s history and will be presented in association with Hammond Family Pantomimes, who have produced successful pantomimes across the country.

Producer Paul Hammond said: “It’s a great opportunity for local children. There will be lots for children to do in the show and while we need children with some dance ability it is not necessary if you are auditioning for a part as a lost boy or one of the Neverland Kids.”

Theatre bosses are promising sparkling sets and lavish costumes.

Mr Hammond said: “Peter Pan is a wonderful story full of magic and excitement. We can’t wait for the adventure to unfold on The Lighthouse stage.

“It will be a fun, family friendly, traditional pantomime and certainly value for money.”

The theatre is offering an early bird ticket offer with all child tickets at £10 as well as savings on family tickets booked before October 31.

Every child ticket booked for Peter Pan will receive a kid’s go free voucher to Drayton Manor theme park and the home of Thomas Land.

Youngsters can audition at the theatre on Sunday, September 16. They just need to enrol and an audition piece will be given on the day.

Juvenile dancers enrolment for girls is at 9am with auditions taking place between 10am and 11.30am.

Any boys auditioning for the Lost Boys should enrol at 11am with the auditions from midday to 1.30pm.
