PEOPLE are being asked to wear something pink or purple to tomorrow’s funeral for a bubbly mother and businesswoman who died after a collision on the M1.
Michelle Constantinedes, 42, whose maiden name was Percival, was born in Irchester and moved to Wellingborough at the age of six.
She was a pupil at Croyland Infant and Junior Schools and at Weavers School in Wellingborough and lived in the town until she was in her mid-20s.
Michelle died after she was involved in a collision with a lorry near the Newport Pagnell services on the southbound carriageway of the motorway at the end of last month.
Mourners are being asked to wear pink or purple to her funeral, which takes place tomorrow, as they were Michelle’s favourite colours.
Michelle lived in Wootton, Northampton, with her husband Marcus, who she married in 2006, and their 11-year-old son Louis.
She was a co-director of Alliance Recruitment, based in Northampton town centre, which she set up with Marcus 13 years ago.
Michelle started her recruitment career at Pertemps in Northampton.
Her mother Diane Percival, of Croyland Road, Wellingborough, said she would be missed by all her family, including Michelle’s father Alan, her sister Suzanne. her brother-in-law Clive and her two nephews Daniel and Lee.
Mrs Percival said: “She was a lovely girl, she was well liked, she would do anything for anybody, she never had a bad word for anybody, she was always there to help people.
“When she lived with us her friends were always here.
“She was very, very popular.
“I alone have had over 50 cards from friends and family.”
Mrs Percival said that once Michelle had Louis her life revolved around her son and Marcus.
She said: “She going to be missed, not just by us and her husband but by all her friends.
“She was so fun and loving, you couldn’t meet a better person.”
Michelle’s funeral will be held at 3.30pm at the Counties Crematorium, Milton Malsor, Northampton.
It will be family flowers only. Donations can be made to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
