The bank holiday weather will be sunny and showery, forecasts the Met Office.
Outbreaks of rain will become widespread and heavy at times during Saturday morning, which is likely to continue through the afternoon. Winds will be light but it will get no warmer than 14C, falling to 10C at night.
It will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain on Sunday morning, but it is expected to then turn brighter with some sunny spells which will continue into Monday.
The possibility of some showers is always present, however.
Temperatures will rise to 17C on Sunday, and 19C on Monday, and winds will be light at first, becoming stronger on Tuesday.
It will remain unsettled all through next week.
