A man’s jaw was broken when he was attacked outside a Corby pub.

The assault happened outside The Village Inn in the Old Village in the early hours of Saturday (July 7).

The victim left the pub and had an argument with another man outside the premises.

The attacker punched the man in the face and pushed him to the ground.

He banged his head and suffered a broken jaw and the loss of several teeth.

The attacker was white, about 20 and was wearing a white T-shirt and cream trousers.

Witnesses to the incident, which happened between 2.20am and 2.40am, are asked to call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
