AN ARREST has been made in relation to a suspicious incident in Kettering.

The Evening Telegraph revealed last week Northamptonshire police had launched an investigation after a man driving a small yellow car approached two teenage girls at about 7.40pm on April 24 in School Lane, Kettering.

The man was alleged to have made sexually suggestive gestures.

Just before midnight on Saturday a 44-year-old man was arrested in Wellington Street, Kettering, on suspicion of drink driving.

As a result of this arrest he was identified as a suspect in relation to the incident in School Lane.

He has been interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries.
