Supporters are invited to attend the annual meeting for a charity which works tirelessly to raise funds to improve breast cancer care at the county’s two main hospitals.
The annual meeting for the Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal is being held at Wicksteed Park in Kettering next week.
Members of the team will speak about the past 12 months, how much the charity has raised in that time and how the money has been spent.
They will also speak about future plans for the charity and how the charity wants to continue its work supporting breast cancer care at Kettering and Northampton general hospitals.
Glennis Hooper, founder of the Wellingborough-based charity, said: “The past year has been very significant in the history of the charity.
“Not only have we now passed the £2 million raised, but plans have been drawn up for the dream of creating Northamptonshire’s dedicated breast cancer support centre.
“To make this happen, we need your views, we very much need you and want you to be part of this challenge.
“I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.”
The meeting comes at the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place during October.
Over the past weeks, the Crazy Hats team has been at numerous events raising money as well as having stands at shopping centres across the county to fundraise and talk about the work they do in the county.
The charity’s annual meeting is being held at 7pm on Monday, November 2, at Wicksteed Park’s Celebration Suite in Kettering.
