Help is needed to re-home dozens of cats who are being looked after by an animal charity.

It’s a full house at the cattery at Animals In Need, which is based in Little Irchester.

Annie Marriott from the charity sad: “The cattery here is currently gridlocked holding 40 cats and we have so many on the waiting list needing our help, sadly until we re-home some of the ones in our care now we have no room to help them.”

The cats range from seven months to 13-years-old and come in various colours, including black, tabby and gingers.

Mrs Marriott added: “All of them are stunnning little characters patiently waiting for their new families to arrive.”
