Allotment drama has a great plot

A touring stage play about life on the allotment is visiting Corby.

Losing the Plot is being presented by Mikron Theatre Company at Oakley Vale Primary School in Cheltenham Road, Corby.

The play is directed by Adam Sunderland and stars Robert Took and Ruth Cataroche.

The gardeners of Thistledale Allotments are a rag-bag bunch of diggers and dreamers and the annual heaviest and longest competition is always a time when old feuds and new flirtations threaten to undermine the fragile harmony.

Told with a mix of old music hall tunes and new sons, the play is a story of local between people and their giant vegetables.

A collection will be taken to raise money for the theatre company following the performance.

The audience should bring their own chairs.

The performance takes place at 2pm on Saturday, May 26.
