A SKATE park is organising an all-night Halloween event to help tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.

Adrenaline Alley, in Corby, is staging the event from 9pm on Friday, October 28, until 8am the next day.

BMX riders and skateboarders of all standards are invited to go along and join in the fun.

Activities on the night will include a trick for a treat, where skaters can impress with their skills for a chance of winning a cash prize.

There will also be prizes for fancy dress, apple-bobbing and films will be shown during the night.

Adrenaline Alley’s events co-ordinator Kim Collins said: “By hosting the all-night event we hope to prevent anti-social behaviour during peak hours by giving young people in the Corby area somewhere to go.”

Skaters of all abilities are welcome but youngsters under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Organisers of the event will be promoting it at youth clubs and schools in the town to encourage young people to take part.

Admission to the all-nighter at the skate park in Arnsley Road is £12 for gold members, £15 for standard and £5 for spectators.
