A43 Geddington link road closed after lorry crashes into central reservation

Police were called to the incident on the eastbound carriageway of the A43 bypass near the Oakley Bridge just before 3pm yesterday (Monday).

A spokesman for Northants Police said: “We had a lorry that went over the central reservation yesterday afternoon at 2.55pm.

“Because of the amout of damage caused, the road was closed for quite a while.”

But the spokesman added that there were no injuries sustained in the incident, which was also attended by the fire service.
