The A427 in Corby is closed after a car came off the road and ended up on its roof.

Police were called to the stretch between KFC and Costa Coffee at 8.55am this morning (Tuesday), near to the Willow Place car park, after a silver Vauxhall Astra careered off the road and on to its roof.

Two lamp-posts have also fallen and the area will continue to be closed until the debris has been cleared and the road has been made safe.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said the driver of the car was not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
