A-levels: Southfield School

It was a clean sweep for Southfield School pupils who passed every single A-level they took.

The Kettering school is again celebrating a 100 per cent pass rate, with 93 per cent of students receiving their first choice university.

Almost half of the university applications were successful in gaining places at the top universities and almost a quarter of all applicants were given unconditional offers.

A large number of students achieved 3 A’s or above and are off to university to study subjects ranging from bio-chemistry, chemical engineering, maths, English literature and economics.

The school says that anyone receiving GCSE results next week who is thinking of applying to our sixth form, but has yet to do so, should visit on the 25th, before mid-day, with a copy of their exam results. Staff there will be happy to discuss an application.

Southfield’s future open evenings will be held on:

Year 6 – Tuesday 27th September 6pm – 8pm

6th Form – Thursday 17th November 6pm – 8pm
