Montsaye Academy in Rothwell this year celebrated yet another fantastic set of Year 13 results.
Students studying A-level and Btec courses proved to be hugely successful in their final examinations.
Virtually 100 per cent of all entries achieved a pass, many at the highest grades.
Notable individual success came from Daniel Starr who achieved two A* grades, an A and a B.
He also achieved the highest grades on his Cambridge University STEP papers and will go on to study mathematics at Trinity College.
Robyn Whaley achieved two A* grades, an A and a B and will go on to study English at Nottingham University.
It was also pleasing to note that all students wishing to progress to university had achieved places at the institutions of their choice.
Principal Jason Cumming said: “We are proud of all our students’ successes that we have been able to celebrate this morning.
“It was a joy to witness their happiness at receiving their results in the knowledge that two years of hard work has come to fruition.
“But this morning is more than just about the final grades achieved, it is also about recognising that our students are moving on to the next stage in their lives.
“It was delightful to talk to them about the jobs, courses and universities that will now become their focus.
“They have exciting times to look forward to and we hope they will also share those experiences with us.”
