Hard work and commitment yielded ‘excellent’ results at Manor School and Sports College.
Special congratulations were extended to Jake Nunley who achieved 4 A* grades to secure his place at Cambridge University.
All students, who planned a university place, have secured a place at the university of their choice.
A college spokesman said: “Cambridge, Loughborough, Leicester, Liverpool, Lincoln and Leeds are but some of the universities who will benefit from our students enrolling in September.
“Students who have achieved excellent A-Level results and have decided to undertake an Advanced Apprenticeship as their next stage of learning demonstrate that there are now very exciting alternatives to university. Apprenticeships in accountancy, sports leisure and fitness are but two of these new opportunities that students from Manor School Sports College will be following in the future.”
Principal Linda Brooks said: “I am delighted that the hard work and effort over the last two years has paid off. Students have secured a place at the university of their choice or an advanced level apprenticeship and I am confident that they will continue their educational journey with enthusiasm achieving more success in the future.
“I would also like to extend my thanks to parents, governors and all staff who have provided invaluable support to students through their A-Level programmes of study.
“I wish all students the best of luck and every success in the future.”
