A vintage-style tea party fundraising event takes place in Kettering on Saturday, August 9.

The event, which is being held to raise money for the Little Hearts Matter charity, takes place at the North Park Pavilion in Weekley Glebe Road between midday and 2 pm.

Organisers, who will be dressed in 1940s outfits for the occassion, say there will be a host of raffle prizes available, which include afternoon tea for two at the Blitz Tea Room, a voucher for Headworks Salon, Cheeky Monkeys passes, day tickets to a show at the Sywell Aerodrome and more. The event is also being supported by Kettering Morrisons and RCI.

Guest singer Pete Wayre will be performing and there will also be a number of craft stalls.

Admission to the event is free.
