The event included a Spitfire display, wing walkers and a fly-in of visiting aircraft.
Other attractions included a drag race, a display of classic cars and live music from Elle & the Pocket Belles.
Organiser Mark Ashman said: “There are not many events like this around so I think people like to come to them.
“We were looking at doing it biannually but, after this success, we may look to run it every year.”
Visitor Richard Fabian, 63, of Kettering, said: “I think it has all been very impressive.
“I would come back if it was held again.”
Adrian Smith, 39, of Bedford, said: “I think there has been a good selection of cars and planes.
“I think it has been good value for money.”
