"A coaching inn built in 1594, The Falcon has been thoughtfully restored and reintroduced into the rural Northamptonshire countryside as a hotel, restaurant and retreat for those in need of rest and renewal. Guests can explore ancient woodland, meadows and lakes with guided nature walks, experience the liberation of wild swimming in open water, and immerse themselves in over four centuries of history, with the nearby Castle Ashby House Gardens. There is also a full wellbeing programme on offer with massage, yoga, gong baths, meditation and outdoor fitness. If you’re not spending the night, locals are welcome to dine at Eyas Restaurant, led by acclaimed Head Chef Russell Bateman, or stop by the Little Juice Bar with fresh pressed juices, coffee and a selection of vegan salads, flatbreads and snacks. https://www.thefalcon-castleashby.com"
"A luxury retreat, a historic filming location, a backdrop to a glorious photoshoot? Yes, but also a piece of British history, and a window into a bygone age. Set in 19 acres of parkland, Flore House represents a taste of luxury that most of us only experience through the tales of Jane Austen, and is the ideal tranquil retreat for a luxury staycation this summer. Start your day with a breakfast hamper, wander the manicured gardens, parkland and down to the lake, and enjoy the extravagant splendour of the suites; which offer eclectic interiors with a mix of classic and modern twists. A trip to the nearby White Hart pub rounds of your visit. https://www.florehouse.co.uk."
"Castle Farm House is a beautiful period property dating back to 1764. Set in the picturesque village of Rockingham, with its thatched cottages, beautiful village pub (The Sondes Arms) and views of Rockingham Castle and the wonderful surrounding counties of Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. Breakfast is served in the lovely dining room overlooking the garden. https://www.castlefarmhouse.net"
"An extraordinary country house retreat surrounded by 2,000 acres of visually stunning parkland, this surrounding natural beauty is matched by the historic architecture and interiors of the Hall itself. Fawsley offers a range of bedroom styles and suites, including family and ‘dog friendly’ rooms. Multiple award-winning dining options include the on-site 2 AA rosette Cedar Restaurant, and the Tudor bar & lounge. Fawsley’s award-winning spa is currently undergoing a revamp and reopens mid-June. https://www.handpickedhotels.co.uk/fawsleyhall
"Situated in the picturesque village of Farthingstone, in the rural south of Northamptonshire. Bay Tree Cottage offers a selection of charming and characterful accommodation, ranging from one-bedroom cottages to a large three-bedroom barn conversion, which if booked together can sleep up to 30 guests. All properties are self-contained and furnished to a high standard with their own outside seating areas where guests can enjoy alfresco dining while taking in the stunning views. Surrounded by stunning countryside and woodlands, Bay Tree Cottage is the ideal base for those who enjoy walking whilst also being within easy reach of the village pub (Kings Arms, Farthingstone) as well as a range of attractions including country parks, National Trust properties, historic houses, theatres and art galleries. "Having been a stable block over 100 years ago, all rooms are self-contained with their own front doors and en-suite facilities, set in a peaceful, private courtyard. All finished to a high standard with period features, the rooms sit in the grounds of a restored, thatched Hunting Lodge, parts of which date back to the 1500's. The rooms in the old stable block are all unique and vastly different from their previous life, which was housing Polo ponies for the Comte De Madre in the early 1900s and before that, the care of young deer over the winter. Wander to the local pub – The Red Lion, Kilsby – for great food and a warm Northamptonshire welcome. https://www.hunthousequarters.co.uk"

This historic luxury hotel offers sanctuary to those seeking a relaxing weekend away, and with 4 red stars and 3 rosettes is the only restaurant in the county with a 3-rosette accolade. The restaurant team strives to deliver an unforgettable dining experience – be it for fine dining in the restaurant, afternoon tea in the Great Hall, or a special occasion in one of the stunning State Rooms. "A cracking new boutique B&B just off the A43 in the village of Evenley, with excellent access to the motorway network. Lots of style, gorgeous comfortable rooms, plenty of off-road parking and a charming helpful host. The location is brilliant for superb local attractions including Evenley Wood Gardens, Bicester Village and Silverstone. Also enjoy the ease of ambling to the local pub - The Red Lion - or the Forge Coffee Shop, both on the glorious village Green.
