Pupils and staff at a county school have been celebrating May Day.
Children and teachers from Pytchley Primary School took part in their annual May Fair on Saturday.
There was dancing around the may pole, stalls and games at the school and one teacher even agreed to put in stocks to raise money for the building’s upkeep.
Headteacher Julia Havlickova said: “It was a lovely day.
“The weather was kind to us and the children looked wonderful in their red, white and blue outfits.
“The dancing was stunning which made for a most enjoyable day.
“I would like to thank everyone who worked hard to put the day together and help out – this truly paid off, raising over £1,000.”
