A charity dinner has helped raised thousands of pounds for local causes.
The Rotary Charity Dinner, held every year at Wicksteed Park by the Rotary Clubs of Kettering and Kettering Huxloe, took place last week.
England rugby union World Cup winner Ben Kay, England international and former Arsenal footballer Ray Parlour and Yorkshire stand-up comedian Mike Farrell were guest speakers.
Duncan Childs, who chairs the fundraising committee, said: “It was a very successful night overall. Our numbers were down a bit but we will have raised several thousand pounds for local charities.
“The speakers were greatly enjoyed by those present – they were very entertaining.”
The total raised on the night is still being counted.
