Each park has a different character to find and some parks have several characters to seek. Players will have a passport and can colour in the character they find by holding the passport over the stencil.

Shirley Plenderleith, head of public services at Kettering Council, said: "The scheme forms part of the legacy left by the successful Beat the Street programme that took place across Kettering in autumn 2019 and is funded by Public Health Northamptonshire."

Adults and children across Kettering became more active during Beat the Street and Discover Kettering Park Bingo passport trail aims to build on its success.

Ms Plenderleith said: "Kettering Council and Groundwork Northamptonshire have been working hard to continue to provide activities and campaigns to keep people healthy with the launch of Keep Healthy Kettering.

"It is a fantastic opportunity to discover what Kettering has to offer and you may find a park or green space that you didn't know about."

Passports for the bingo trail can be collected from Rothwell Library, Desborough Library and Kettering Corn Market Hall or downloaded online.

The passports have a guide showing the location of the posts. Players will need to explore the park to find the post and stencil for the passport to try and collect them all.

More information and a downloadable passport is available here.
