Rough sleepers are being provided with free sleeping bags – thanks to a donation from Corby Lions Club.

It has presented county charity Accommodation Concern with £120 which will pay for six sleeping bags.

Rachel Wilson, chief executive of the charity, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to the Lions Club. Something as simple as a sleeping bag can make a huge difference to a person living on the street and our outreach team will give them out to people most in need on the streets of Corby.”

Anyone with accommodation problems can contact the charity by calling 01536 416560 or emailing accomm-concern@btconnect.com.
