A spokesperson explained: "So, whether you’re an amateur photographer, professional, or under 16 we’d love to see your photographs!

"There are some great prizes on offer donated by local businesses for the winners in each category and each level of photographer and there are nine prizes in total," the spokesperson added.

Photographers can enter up to three images and can enter the competition here.

Nenescape is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and is working hard with partner organisations and volunteers between Northampton and Peterborough to raise the profile of the River Nene, improve the environment/wildlife and promote the Nene Valley to be a great place to live, work and visit.
