The present house was finished in 1714 and the Victorian Wing added in 1859. The original 'bell board' used to summon staff to various parts in the house is still there.
Many valuable works of art and antiques connected with Hinwick have been traced to collections across the world, re-purchased and returned to their original place at the house.
