A further 123 people have died at Kettering General Hospital, although no further deaths in the north of county were announced for the second day running.

That takes the grim total of victims at Northamptonshire's two NHS Trust hospitals to 316 when the latest data was collated at 5pm yesterday (Sunday May 10).

These figures only include hospitalised cases, however and do not count 60 known coronavirus-related deaths in county care homes between April 10 and May 1.

Across the UK, Public Health England revealed a total of 32,065 victims have now died The daily rise of 210 is the lowest since March 26, three days after lockdown started, when the total number of deaths stood at 578.
