Northampton General Hospital is looking to bolster its regular army of 300 volunteers supporting patients and staff.
A group of extra helpers responded to appeals as hospital staff battled the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year.

Hide AdThey helped loved ones make 300 calls to patients and delivered 800 letters at the height of the crisis.
But the Cliftonville sites also carries a team of permanent volunteers giving up their time to to support patients, medical and nursing staff helping run services such as on-site helpdesks, mobile library and transport and buggy services..
Emma Wimpress, head of volunteer services, said: “We are so thankful to our incredible team of volunteers whose help is so appreciated by everyone at NGH. We are extremely grateful to anyone choosing to give their time to us.
”Working with NGH in a volunteering role means you're playing a part in delivering the best possible care to patients and their families, whether you're providing administration support or working alongside teams on the wards."

Hide AdThree posts which currently require filling all mean giving up just three or fours hours a week.
■ Response volunteer to transport patients between wards, collect medication from the on-site pharmacy or transport samples to labs. More information HERE.
