A-Levels: Southfield School, Kettering

The majority of students at Southfield School in Kettering are off to their preferred destination after picking up their A-Level results today.

Students were graded based on teacher predictions with no exams taken because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a brief statement, a school spokesman said: "We would like congratulate our Year 13 students on their results given that this has been a difficult and anxious time.

"We have been incredibly impressed by their resilience and strength of character in managing this unprecedented situation.

"The overwhelming majority of our students have secured their preferred destination after leaving our sixth form.

"On behalf of our school community, we wish them all the best for the future."
