Principal Siobhan Hearne said: "At a time where there is so much “noise” surrounding this year’s examination process, the only thing that is important today is our students and celebrating their success.

"Our Year 13 have dedicated the last seven years of their life to this special moment – and it has been a great privilege to share it with them. They should be rightly proud of not only their hard work and effort, but also the courageous and resilient way in which they have managed the last few months. We are deeply proud of them all."

Sixth form assistant principal Kerry Gallon added: "I am thrilled with the achievements of our students. They have received an exceptional set of examination grades and their hard work has been rewarded. Our only sadness today is that they are now leaving us to move on to pastures new!"
