Another student, Tyrell, is going to study engineering at the University of Coventry with the opportunity to take up work placements in the second year and expand his experience.

Principal Angela Reynolds said: "This year group was only the second cohort through the school and the first who actually inhabited the building so they hold a special place in our history.

"They are a very talented and tightly knit group so the fact that have all secured the courses and careers they wanted is excellent.

"It was lovely to welcome them back for results day and to see them happy and excited for their future.

"Everyone at Corby Technical School wishes them all the best for the future."
