Internet giant Amazon is creating new jobs at its fulfilment centre in Daventry.
The retailer has announced it will recruit 2,000 new staff this year across the UK with a number of the new jobs being available at its site in Daventry.
More than 130 of the jobs will be available for professionals in finance, IT, safety and engineering.
The Amazon fulfilment centre in Daventry opened two years ago and employs 190 people.
A spokesperson for Amazon said it was not yet known how many extra staff would be needed at its Daventry site.
Amazon has a number of centres across the Midlands including at Rugeley, in Staffordshire, Coalville, in Leicestershire and in Coventry with a new fulfilment centre in Rugby due to open this summer.

By the end of the year, Amazon expects to have a permanent workforce in the UK of more than 29,500.
