Rushden Lakes cinema plans to open next month

Movie fans could be back watching a film on the big screen at Rushden Lakes in just a few weeks after Cineworld unveiled plans to return from their Covid-19 closure.

Cineworld plan to re-open their cinemas in England on July 10, subject to final clarifications and confirmation on Government restrictions. Dates for cinemas in Scotland, Wales and Ireland will be announced later.

There will be a number of safety measures in place when the cinemas re-open, with social distancing in all areas of the cinema including distanced seating.

Hand sanitiser stations will be in all cinemas for customers and employees with anti-bacterial hand soap in all toilets.

Film start and end times will also be staggered to reduce the number of people crossing paths, with plastic screens at tills.
