A new 'Shop Rushden' website has been launched to help promote local businesses during the second lockdown.

Rushden Town Council has created the website to help promote Rushden shops and businesses who are offering delivery, collection and alternative services over this next lockdown period and the lead up to Christmas.

More than 30 businesses already feature on the website, with details from each one on how you can access their services and goods during lockdown.

These include Blue Corner Cafe, TJ Brown Butcher, Crystelle Belle, Osbornes Sports & Toys, TJ's Alternative Gifts and Coleman's Craft Warehouse.

A spokesman for Rushden Town Council said: "Please check out what alternative services Rushden shops are offering and keep shopping local this Christmas.

"It's vitally important that we all support our local shops and businesses and help them get them through what is going to be a tough month, when for most, it should have been the busiest trading month of the year."

The website will be refreshed and promoted daily so people are urged to check it regularly to see the latest from Rushden's shops and businesses.
