"The Greggs within the filling station will be opening on Friday.

"Our site selection process is specific to those that are on the main road network and have significant vehicle trips on that network.

"Whilst the western side of Rushden is well served by roadside services along the A45, there is a distinct lack of roadside services to the eastern side of Rushden, particularly along the A6 corridor.

"Our service area will meet a demand and enhance the offer available to the motorist.

"The development will provide up to 40 full/ part time jobs, which will be sourced from the local area."
