Competition launches for couples to win £35k wedding at historic Northamptonshire venue

A competition has been launched for engaged couples to win a wedding worth thousands of pounds at a historic Northamptonshire venue.

Wedding planner, Claire Clarke has teamed up with Holdenby House, near East Haddon, to give one couple the chance to win a £35,000 wedding.

The wedding will be held on August 1, 2021 for up to 50 guests and will include a full menu, a cake, photography and much more.

Claire, Owner of Claire Clarke Weddings said: “With so many couples facing uncertainty around wedding plans due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Holdenby House and I have worked together to create something positive for couples planning their wedding.

“The wedding day we have created has been perfectly styled as if it looked to come from a magazine and some of the industries’ top local suppliers have been handpicked to take part in this competition.

“The prize really is more than most could imagine but shouldn’t a wedding day be about dreaming big?”

“This competition gives everyone the chance to be excited again for the upcoming wedding season next year and we are extremely grateful to the wonderful suppliers who have partnered with us to create this outstanding prize.”

The free wedding, which will be planned by Claire, will include a bespoke wedding menu from Burnt Lemon Chefs displayed on gold rimmed china from Chelsea Hire, an evening grazing table by Spr.ead, a three tier wedding cake from Meadowsweet Cakes and an bar package from The Occasion Bar Hire Co.

Fine Art Photographer Ferri Photography will be on hand to capture the memories,a bespoke stationery suite will be designed by Olive & Millicent with styling from The White Emporium, floristry from The Flower Story, bouquet silks from Kate Cullen Style and tableware to finish the luxury look by Wren Prop Hire, as well linen from The Linen Hire.

The giveaway will also include a wedding dress from Serendipity Brides, bridesmaid dresses from Motee Maids, suits from Suitors, hair by Stacey Granger and make-up by Aimee Garner, bridal accessories by Rachel Sokhal Bridal and shoes by Charlotte Mills Shoes.

Live Entertainment will be provided for the day by Flo and B, there will also be roaming interactive entertainment from Lee Smith Magic and Potter Group Events will be on hand in the evening with a DJ and Lighting package.

The competition is now live on Instagram and will run for six weeks.

To apply, couples will need to re-post the competition post onto their stories once it is live, follow all the supplies involved and add a comment to the original post.
