The award-winning Canadian Katherine Ryan is fast becoming known a recognisable face on British television with appearances on a wide range of programmes.

She has previously appeared on BBC One’s Live At The Apollo & Let’s Dance for Comic Relief, BBC 2’s Mock The Week, QI & Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Katherine has also worked as an actress appearing on sitcoms Campus, Episodes and Don’t Sit in the Front Row with Jack Dee.

The new show is called Glam Role Model and is apparently based around an experience when her ex-boyfriend cheated on her.

The fresh, often dangerously fierce pop-culture obsessed Canadian, was unaffected by publicized death threats and survived the world’s first crack smoking mayor.

The Scotsman newspaper described her as having “warped wit and a striking presence”.
