AN interactive performance which lets audiences join in on the drama comes to three community centres in Corby.
Without Planning Permission is a live performance event, which features local performers, and is created by improvisation company Fluxx,
The show can be experienced at Danesholme Communicare Centre on Sunday, The Autumn Centre on Monday and Hazelwood Neighbourhood Centre on Tuesday. On arrival at the venue, audiences watch a film that sets the scene of a community that has been created from the imaginations of Fluxx and local performers.
As the performance begins they will meet characters who live in this imagined neighbourhood: a young man full of mischief, a grieving father, a drunken woman, a soldier back from the war, a priest who sings and many more.
A crisis in the community affects all the characters, bringing them together and only the audience can resolve the situation. Through conversations with each character, the audience finds out information to help them make a collective decision, the results of which will unfold before their eyes.
Without Planning Permission offers an exciting evening’s entertainment for audiences, whether they choose to just sit back and watch or take part in the decision making process.
Every performance is unique: it really is theatre that the audience controls. Tickets are just £3 and can be booked at The Core’s Ticket Office on 01536 470 470 or online at www.thecorecorby.com. Performances start at 7.30pm each evening. For details of the venue locations, call the Ticket Office or check The Core’s website.
