Darren Day wil take on the role of swash-buckling panto villain when The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering stages this year’s panto Peter Pan.

Darren will appear as Captain Hook in J M Barrie’s classic story full of fairies, flying and foolhardy pirates.

He will lead a talented cast who have been working hard to bring to life the story of Peter Pan, a boy would wouldn’t grow up, and his adventures with the world famous characters such as the Darling children and Tinkerbell.

Darren will star alongside his wife Stephanie Dooley, who will take on the role of Pirate Starkey.

Providing the magic will be television magician Alex Lodge as Pirate Trix, who will be recognised for his numerous television appearances on shows such as CBBC’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The cast will also include many local dancers, who have been put through their paces by choreographer Julian Riley.

Julian said: “The local children are fantastic.

“They can’t wait to start performing.”

The Peter Pan panto will run from Saturday, December 8 until Sunday, December 30.

Tickets cost £16 for adults or £13.50 for children.

Family and group tickets are also available.
