The story of singer Eva Cassidy, whose music only reached a wider audience after her death at the age of only 33, is being told on stage.
Her life was turned into a stage show The Eva Cassidy Story – Over The Rainbow in 2004 and next month it comes to Wellingborough.
Washington-born Eva is only thought to have performed barely 100 or so live gigs, many of them to audiences of only 30 people.
After her death in 1996 her rendition of Over The Rainbow was championed by Terry Wogan on his radio show and it struck a chord with people.
She went on to have three number one albums.
In this production Eva will be played by Nicole Faraday, pictured left, whose TV work includes Emmerdale and Bad Girls.
The show is on at The Castle Theatre in Wellingborough on September 9.
