A play full of sinister twists and turns will soon be brought to the stage by the Wellingborough Technical Players.
Deathtrap, a thriller by Ira Levin, has been a popular stage and screen success and, from Tuesday, it will be brought to life once again at The Castle in Wellingborough.
A play within a play, Deathtrap is known to have been nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play in the first year of its run. The story, which was famously adapted into a 1980s film starring Christopher Reeve, Michael Caine and Dyan Cannon, tells the tale of writer Sidney Bruhl, who plots to kill a fellow writer and steal his play. But as the action unfolds it soon becomes clear that there is much more going on between the characters than first meets the eye.
The play will be performed from Tuesday, October 30, until Friday, November 2, at 7.45pm, and on November 3 at 2.30pm and 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £8. For more information log onto www.thecastle.org.uk
