West End star Ruthie Henshall will be taking to the stage at The Castle in Wellingborough this week.
‘An Intimate Evening with Ruthie Henshall’ will be the star’s first ever regional tour and the show is set to take audiences on a musical journey through her career.
Ruthie’s career biography is impressive, including roles in everything from Chicago on Broadway to Les Miserables.
Ruthie has also been nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award five times, winning Best Actress in a Musical for her role in Peggy Sue Got Married.
Ruthie’s TV appearances have included Curb Your Enthusiasm, Law & Order, The Sound of Musicals and Doctor Who. She was also an original judge on ITV1’s Dancing on Ice.
Ruthie’s band, joining her on stage, will be led by musical director, Paul Schofield, on piano as well as musicians Lewis Andrews, on guitar/bass, and Stephen Maclachlan, on drums.
