Musical fans have the chance to listen to all their favourites as New York, New York visits Wellingborough.
New York New York is at The Castle theatre, located at 10 Castle Way, on Saturday at 7.30pm.
The evening of “glamour and razzmatazz” will celebrate hits from The Great American Songbook.
The Great American Songbook is a term that has come to represent the best American songs of the 20th century.
These songs are drawn principally from Broadway Theatre and Hollywood musicals from the 1920s to 1960s.
New York New York will present some of the best and most well-known of these songs, for one-night only at the theatre.
It will be accompanied by a lively stage show featuring a live six-piece band and three experienced singing actors with West-End pedigrees.
Among the song favourites, audiences will have the chance to listen to: Get Happy, Have You Met Miss Jones?, The Lady is a Tramp, Sing Sing Sing, Me and My Shadow, Let There be Love, Makin’ Whoopee, Come Fly With Me, Mack the Knife, Embraceable You and, of course, New York, New York.
Tickets for the show are priced at £16.50.
