The Noisy Oyster company has reinvented two traditional children’s stories by weaving together The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
The show, entitled The Three Billy Pigs, will be performed at The Castle theatre in Wellingborough on Saturday at 11am and 2pm.
As the tale goes, there were three little pigs whose time comes to leave home. They set off to build their dream houses in the green field on the other side of the river. But then these homes are put to the test by a misunderstood wolf. And who is the grumpy person who lives under the bridge?
The show promises beautifully crafted puppets, light-hearted storytelling, live music and a little bit of piggy-style eco-awareness.
Noisy Oyster is made up of Sarah Rowland-Barker, who has been performing and leading workshops for more than 25 years, and award-winning puppeteer Nik Palmer.
The Three Billy Pigs is recommended for children aged three and over. Tickets cost £8.50 or £6.50. Family tickets (for two adults and two children) cost £25. Tickets can be bought by calling the box office on 01933 270007 or logging on to www.thecastle.org.uk.
