The Castle theatre in Wellingborough will be the place for a good giggle tomorrow when it hosts another Laughing Boy Comedy Club night.
The independently run club has put on some of the most successful shows in London over the last 10 years.
They have helped launch the careers of some of the UK’s finest stand-up comedians today, including Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Jon Richardson, Kevin Bridges, Seann Walsh and Josh Widdicombe.
Tomorrow’s performance will feature Mark Olver delivering a dark mix of comedy, stupidity, horror, theatre and nonsense. A well-known stand-up and TV warm-up act, he regularly comperes and headlines for comedy clubs and promoters across the UK. He has also supported such acts as Russell Howard and Lee Mack on national tours.
Also on stage will be the Corkman, Andrew Ryan.
Andrew started to perform stand-up in 2008 and since then has gone from strength to strength. Last year he brought his debut solo show, Ryanopoly to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The show will start at 8pm and tickets cost £12.50 or £10.50. To book, ring 01933 270007 or visit the theatre’s website www.thecastle.org.uk.
