Comic rants on everything from political scandal to religious hypocrisy can be expected from comedian Marcus Brigstocke’s latest stand-up show The Brig Society.

Marcus is well known for giving serious subjects the comic touch, and his show involves interaction with members of the audience as he seeks out their views on such subjects as bankers’ bonuses and economic incompetence.

Known to many for his broadcasting work on radio and TV, Marcus has made appearances on many high profile shows.

He has appeared in TV programmes such as Argumental, and Radio 4 has also become a second home to him, with regular appearances including Just A Minute and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars (in which he challenges people to do those surprising things they have never before tackled).

He also recently appeared alongside fellow comedian Phill Jupitus on the TV show The World’s Most Dangerous Roads, driving Bolivia’s high elevation routes.

Fans can see Marcus perform at The Castle theatre in Wellingborough tomorrow at 8pm. Tickets cost £15. Ring 01933 270007 or log on to www.thecastle.org.uk.
