The mind-bending talents of illusion master, Derren Brown, will be displayed again when his new show arrives at the Royal & Derngate next week.
Fresh from the Olivier Award-winning Svengali tour, Derren is back again with the sixth in a series of live shows, promising to mesmerise, shock and entertain audiences.
Derren said: “Live on stage is the best place for what I do; it’s unpredictable and the audience knows there’s no possibility of judicious editing.”
Derren will be a familiar face to many who have seen his shows on TV. He began his TV career in December 2000 with a series of specials, called Mind Control.
Derren has performed stunts such as playing Russian roulette on live TV, convincing middle-managers to commit armed robbery in the street, leading the nation in a seance and motivating a shy man to land a packed passenger plane from 30,000 feet.
The show will run at the Royal & Derngate from Monday, April 15 until Saturday, April 20. Limited ticket availability remains.
Tickets cost £35, £32 or £29. The show is recommended for those aged 12 and over. For more information, log on to www.royalandderngate.co.uk
