The Castle theatre in Wellingborough will be hosting the Laughing Boy Comedy Club next week as the regular event makes its return.

The independently-run Laughing Boy Comedy Club has put on some of the most successful shows in London over the past 10 years.

It has helped launch the careers of some of the UK’s finest stand-ups today, including Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Jon Richardson, Kevin Bridges, Seann Walsh and Josh Widdicombe.

The forthcoming show will feature lovable Dubliner Rory O’Hanlon, whose observational style of comedy has made him a hit with crowds up and down the country.

Also featured as part of the evening will be the dry wit and cynicism of one of the most respected comedians on the international circuit, Trevor Crook.

These comedians will be joined by the insightful musings of comedy’s bright spark John Grodillo.

A spokesman for the theatre said: “Among all the excitement of this evening, don’t forget you can also book yourself a tasty interval meal of chicken and chips, plus a drink.”

The show is on at 8pm on Friday, October 4. Tickets cost £12.50 or £10.50 and can be purchased by calling The
Castle box office on 01933 270007.
