An amateur dramatics group has invited members of the public along to its laughter-filled shows next week.
The Tingdene Entertainers are staging their adaptation of two episodes of BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley at the Star Hall in Finedon between Thursday, October 9, and Saturday, October 11, with the shows starting at 7.30pm.
The productions will be the group’s interpretation of the episodes where the Revd Pottle died and was replaced by the Revd Geraldine Granger, and also when the villagers set up their own radio station.
The Vicar of Dibley, which starred Dawn French, was one of the most popular sitcoms of the 1990s.
Tickets cost £7.50 and are available on the door or from 01933 680680 or 01933 682013.
